My name is Jeannette Bottlang. As a real estate agent and graduate in business administration (Diplom-Kauffrau), I know the Berlin rental market first-hand – and know exactly what makes a compelling application to landlords and property managers.

My commission is 2 months' net cold rent plus VAT – due exclusively upon successful placement, i.e. when a lease is signed through my involvement. The search mandate itself is free and non-binding for you.

An informal search mandate is enough. You can keep searching yourself at any time or end the mandate – no costs arise for you except in case of success.

That depends on your criteria and the current market. Thanks to my network with landlords, property managers and housing cooperatives, I often hear about apartments before they appear on the big portals – which noticeably shortens the search.
